Witness Preparation

Mission: Work in concert with attorneys to prepare witnesses to present powerful testimony and respond to difficult questions under cross-examination. Help witnesses develop responses to all case issues.

Significant Work: CCA has worked on more than 250 civil cases and regulatory hearings. Up to $9b has been at stake in individual cases. In addition, our team has prepared CEOs to testify before outwardly hostile Congressional committees.

Research: Troublesome case issues, case strengths, witness domain, case strategy, and peculiarities of your judge or regulator are all assessed during on-site research interviews.

Level of Effort: When preparing for a trial or regulatory hearing, witnesses work together on your case in three, 3.0-day sessions scheduled a few weeks apart. If your organization is not facing a current case, one 3.0-day session can be utilized to develop and/or "screen" future witnesses.

Content Highlights:

Location: Conducted privately at a location of your choice.

Bottom Line: If a witness encounters any issues under cross-examination which cannot be handled effectively, we have not done our job. Our goal: no surprises on the stand.
